Privacy Policy

This policy explains how HVAC Sizer (the “app”) and this website handle information. The app is developed and published by an independent developer (“I”, “me”).

Information the app collects

None. The app does not collect any data from you or your device, and I cannot see anything you do in it. It does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking software, and it does not make network connections.

Information stored on your device

To work, the app saves the following locally on your iPhone or iPad:

• Settings: your units, friction and velocity limits, materials and other defaults.
• Schedules: project names, tagged sizing results and any notes you add.

This information never leaves your device through the app, and I have no access to it. If you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, the backup may include it, under Apple’s terms and your own backup settings. Deleting the app deletes this information from your device.

Exporting and copying

When you choose Export CSV or Copy for Excel, the app creates a file or copies text using the standard iOS share sheet or clipboard. Where it goes next (Mail, Files, Messages, another app) is up to you, and is governed by that app’s or service’s own privacy practices.

Information Apple may provide

Apple handles App Store downloads and purchases under Apple’s Privacy Policy. If you have turned on “Share With App Developers” in your device’s Analytics & Improvements settings, Apple may share anonymized crash reports and usage statistics with me through App Store Connect. These do not identify you, and I use them only to find and fix problems in the app. You can turn this off at any time in Settings.

Children

The app is a professional engineering tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

This website and support requests

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not load fonts or scripts from third-party services.

• Support messages: if you use the support form, I receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to write. I use it only to reply and to improve the app. It is kept in my email and in this website’s administration area, and it is never sold or shared.
• Hosting: this site is hosted by Bluehost, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and the pages requested) for security and reliability, under its own privacy policy.

To have your support messages deleted, ask through the support page and I will remove them.

Your rights

Because the app collects no personal information, there is nothing for me to access, correct or delete from the app. For support messages, you may ask me at any time what I hold about you and have it deleted, wherever you live.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app handles information differently, I will update this policy before that version is released and change the effective date above.
